Ministries
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” Ephesians 4:11-12 At Emmanuel we believe that God has called all of His people to be actively engaged in serving the Lord Jesus Christ. We have been commissioned and equipped by Him to do the work of ministry. We seek to carry out the purpose of God by making disciples of Jesus Christ and by touching the world with the love of God through various ministries.
Anniversary
The Anniversary ministry plans, promotes, and produces celebration services of thanksgiving to our Lord and Savior for the gift of our Pastor (Appreciation Service) and the blessings upon our church (Anniversary Service).
Audio/Visual
The Audio/Visual ministry provides audio services for all worship services. Prepares and produces CD’s of recorded messages.
Baptism
The Baptism ministry provides training and assistance to candidates for the ordinance of Baptism. Maintains baptismal robes and other materials.
Deacon
The Deacon’s ministry is responsible for; visiting the sick and shut-in, bereavement assistance, benevolence assistance, collection of tithes and offerings and encouraging discipleship and fellowship among the congregation.

Floral
The Floral ministry prepares flowers for beautification of the church sanctuary, as well as, plant flowers, shrubs, etc., on the church grounds Youth/Children.
IT
Spirited by Ephesians 4:11-12, this ministry promotes Christian growth and spreads the gospel using god-gifted talents & skills in related areas such as system/network management and web site development.
Lord’s Supper
This ministry prepares the sanctuary table for partaking of the Lord’s Supper (Communion) on the first Sunday of the very month.

Music Ministry
The Music ministry leads the church in singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs which glorify, praise, magnify, and give thanks to God, and which encourages, edifies, and invokes the people of God to worship, serve and give thanks to Him.
Nursery
Provides a safe, happy Christian environment for children birth through four years of age.
Praise Dance
Small Group Ministry
Groups meet the 3rd Sunday of each month to fellowship and discuss topics of the bible. You are encouraged to become a part of a small group. Please email the church office at ebc.laurel@verizon.net for a list of host families.
Trustee
The Trustees are charged with the maintenance and management of all church property. Usher – This ministry assists in the worship service by greeting and directing worshipers arriving for service and by maintaining an environment conducive to worship.

Young Adult
The purpose of the EBC Y.A.M. is to provide an avenue of spiritual connection and growth for the church’s Young Adults. The focus group of our ministry is adults between the ages of 18 and 35. While our ministry does not have walls the focus is stimulated by the need for young adults in this age sector to have bible study forums, events and other insightful activities that are geared to provoke a desire to know Jesus Christ more intimately and help develop our walk in Him.
